Discovery session – a business fitness review

When it comes to running your business – do you know what you’re doing?

Most digital, creative and tech entrepreneurs (including us) have muddled along, through countless sleepless nights, growing our businesses – because it’s hard to know what’s the best thing or the right decision when you’re doing it on your own.

Our mission is to make it easier for leaders, through a combination of peer groups, workshops, instructions, tools, advice, homework and making you accountable. The Discovery session is the first (and a standalone) step in the journey.

Delivered by Growth Leaders, the session explores ten areas every business has to master to fulfil its potential. Together, we’ll work through a thought-provoking morning – sharing our experiences and challenges as we go. You’ll complete a workbook, reflect and mark your progress against each stage – and gain clarity on both your personal and business goals.

We’ll be discussing key business issues around business growth – the challenges ahead, the lessons we can learn and how we can prepare to meet those challenges. At the end you’ll have a strong understanding of what’s working, what’s straining, and what needs the most attention first.

Why are we doing it?

Every participant gets a lot from the session itself. But it links directly to the next stage programmes from Growth Leaders and you’ll also be able to tell if a Growth Leaders programme might be appropriate to help you develop over the next 12 months.

Our goal is to support a leader to grow their business more easily by having very clear personal and business goals, much better structures and processes, less friction, more fun – and suffer way less stress.

What is the Event Format?

You will be one of up to 12 business leaders who will meet at The Chocolate Box in Bournemouth. You can join us any time from 08:45 for pastries, coffee and networking, but the session will start promptly at 09:30 with a 15-minute coffee break at 10.50 and finishing at 12:30.

Anthony Story will lead you through the session in which both he and Paul Tansey will openly share some of the often harsh (and sometimes brutal) lessons learned on their business journeys – and make sure you’re very clear what you need to do over the next 12 months on yours.
