Meet the Buyer

Silicon South is working with other cluster groups in the region to push the creative digital agenda and the potential it has to help other sectors to innovate. We know that the emergence of new technology is making a major impact in how other sectors develop. This might be through the introduction of Artificial Intelligence or Internet of things or, alternatively, using the latest tools available to manage social media or affiliate marketing activities, and there’s a host of other innovations, of course.

We’re devising an innovation workshop format which we are now trialling. The idea is to bring creative digital companies with expertise in these new areas together with companies who don’t have the expertise available in-house.

By bringing you together, we can help the other sectors better understand the opportunities they can grasp to improve their business, show them how they might be relevant to their own circumstances and introduce you as experts who have the ability to deliver the new technologies.

Example Format

We have teamed up with a large corporate company who would like to invite their business customers to join a learning session – along these lines…

Topic:

Digital and Data marketing

Length:

2 hours – 1-hour presentation time and 1-hour group discussion

Format:

1 hour with x4 speakers – each one introduces:

• Latest trends in data-informed, digital marketing
• Benefits of using these advances
• A Use-case
• 15 mins per speaker

Followed by:

1 hour in multiple breakout rooms

• Up to x10 breakout rooms
• Each room hosted by topic expert
• Small group discussions to understand how the trend could benefit their business
  • a chance to build an initial relationship and trust
• Participants visit x4 rooms – 15 mins each room, to cover each topic area
