The C21st Customer Conundrum

The C21st Customer Conundrum

Opportunities beyond traditional bricks and mortar: As high streets continue to be hit by the impact of Covid and a drop in footfall, we are seeing new ways to connect with customers emerging. Whether it’s developing alternative ways to sell, or pivoting to provide brand new services, we’ll explore some of the successful approaches other local small businesses are embracing.

The event adopts a live podcast format featuring three experts in their fields. The host will explore the following topics with the lead expert in each subject to uncover a list of practical insights and steps, introducing real-world examples that can be applied to your own business.

Opening: The host will provide a short introduction to the topics to be discussed.

Engaging Customers: Whatever the approach, you need to grab customer attention. Social media is powerful, but there is so much to it and so many options. We’ll look at which approaches seem to be having the best impact and how these differ from channel to channel.

Converting: They say, on average, it takes 17 interactions with your business before customer interest converts into a sale. The more you can understand who’s looking and who’s interested, the quicker you can convert that interest – whether online or in-venue. In the past year, there have been huge strides made in how to monitor customer interest – with new tools now available that make this much easier for the average person. We’ll explore what they are and how to use them.

Q and A – questions are invited throughout the session, but with dedicated time set aside so the audience have the time to ask how these issues might apply to their own circumstances.

One-to-Ones -All participants are invited to book a one-to-one session with any of the experts to get more details about the relevancy of these issues for their own business and find out how they can move forward with them if so.
