Open Accelerator Workshop 2 – The Value Proposition

This is the 2nd workshop in Silicon South’s “Open Accelerator” programme series.
Before you crack on in developing ad launching a new product it’s vital to understand who is going to buy from you and why. We’ll begin by looking at Josh Kaufman’s 10 Ways to Evaluate a market proposition and see how your own ideas stack up against this.
We’ll also look at how important it is to understand not just what people will buy or how you will serve that, but why they want the product in the first place. This provides a practical walk through of the premise articulated by the likes of Simon Sinek.
We’ll work with the Value Proposition Canvas as a way to define what it is people actually want – and show what problems your product can help customers overcome. This, in turn, will help define how you need to shape your product to make sure you create something with a clearly defined purpose which is built around a clearly understood customer demand.
