About this Event

The Directors Discussion brings small groups of directors together to provide a rare chance for business leaders to have open and frank discussions with your peers – about your business, your challenges and how to move forward – which you agree to keep off-the-record.

This Directors Group is open exclusively to leaders running Digital or Creative businesses in the Bournemouth region and Dorset. This Group is targeted specifically for companies that employ 16 or more employees.

The Group will be facilitated by Paul Tansey – founder of Intergage. Paul will be joined by Peter Czapp CEO of the WOW company to discuss, amongst other things, Growth; Pricing; and Exit Strategies. The Group will bring together around 10 people – with similar profiles in terms of seniority, size of business and sector – to have productive discussions with people whose opinions can bear direct relevancy to your own circumstances.

Agenda-wise, Paul and Peter will start the a discussion on their topic which will then help set the tone for an ongoing discussion. There’s also time to catch up and share advice on current challenges and opportunities? Peter will also give a sneak preview of some of the most up to date industry insights before the BenchPress report is published in the Spring. It will be hosted on Zoom.

The rest of the agenda will be set by you – the people who join in – to make sure the topics discussed are directly relevant to the issues you are facing right now. Each group will be carefully curated to make sure everyone joining in compliment each other and can add value to each other too.

**Before the group starts we will inform you who the other participants are -to double check you are comfortable talking about your business challenges with the others. Participants will be limited to one per company as demand dictates.

please note: the groups are supported by the European Funding Silicon South is receiving. As such, we count the time spent on them as part of the support we offer through this ERDF programme. This means, if you haven’t already, we will be in touch to ask you fill in a form about your business as it currently stands. Of course this also means you are open to participate in any other activities we deliver through this funding.
