The Directors Discussion brings small groups of directors together to provide a rare chance for business leaders to have open and frank discussions with your peers – about business, your challenges and how to move forward – which you agree to keep off-the-record.
This Directors Group is open exclusively to leaders running Digital or Creative businesses in the Bournemouth region and Dorset. This Group is targeted specifically for companies that employ 3-17 employees.
The session brings together a small group of people – with similar profiles in terms of seniority, size of business and sector – to have productive discussions with people whose opinions can bear direct relevancy to your own circumstances.
This time, we’re lucky to be joined by Bournemouth agency legend Luke Platt in a round table discussion.
Luke spent 2 decades managing and developing what was the largest digital agency on the south coast: Redweb.
In that time, he built and developed multi-disciplined teams, which at their peak totalled over 115 people based in Bournemouth, with over 50 contractors working remotely.
The agency delivered significant projects for Guide Dogs, Battersea, UEFA, City and Guilds, RNLI, Science Museum and Vodafone amongst many others. They were also recognised as a key supplier to central government departments including Home Office, Department for Education and HM Treasury.
He has deep experience of agency management, through significant growth in an industry that continues to evolve at speed.
Nowadays, he is focussed on providing meaningful help in a way that actually works for agencies and organisations. That includes ongoing Founder/MD/Senior team support or working within a business to develop specific functions.
**Before the group starts we will inform you who the other participants are -to double check you are comfortable talking about your business challenges with the others. Participants will be limited to one per company as demand dictates.
