The Group

The Directors Discussion brings small groups of directors together to provide a rare chance for business leaders to have open and frank discussions with your peers – about your business, your challenges and how to move forward – which you agree to keep off-the-record.

This Group is open exclusively to leaders running Digital or Creative businesses in the Bournemouth region and Dorset. This Group is targeted specifically for companies that employ 1-4 employees.

The Group is facilitated by Anthony Story, Director of Silicon South. The Group will bring together 5-7 people – with similar profiles in terms of seniority, size of business and sector – to have productive discussions with people whose opinions can bear direct relevancy to your own circumstances.

The Agenda Made by You

The topics of discussion very much coincide with the current challenges you face as business owners, whilst also identifying new trends and opportunities for the future answering questions such as:

• What do you see?
• What changes are you introducing to make the most of them?
• What do your plans going forward look like?
• How can they be improved?

Due to the current environmental challenges thrown up by Covid-19, we maintain these discussion groups over Zoom. As there has never been a more prominent time to come together, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Therefore, when we say the ‘agenda is made by you’, it’s because it is. By having a trusted network, yet also confidential, you can make sure the topics we discuss are directly relevant to the issues you are facing right now.

Each group is carefully curated to make sure everyone joining in compliments one another, who can add value, and provides new ways of thinking to a similar problem.
